We are a professional one to one job search organization aimed at helping people
with physical, mental and/or emotional conditions that cause barriers to employment.
We help our clients to prepare for and find suitable employment. We define suitable
employment as employment that fits with your interests, abilities, and background
and where your condition is not considered a barrier.
We are a professional organization and we are highly successful as long as you are
ready, willing and able to commit to the job search process. IAM Cares Society commits

You are eligible for our program if:
- You are currently looking for work
- You are underemployed meaning that you are working less than 20 hours a week and/or
you are not being fully utilized in the workforce. For example, a person with a
master's degree in public relations working as a bus driver or a foreign trained
engineer working as a retail clerk.
- You have an emotional, physical and/or chronic conditon that has prevented you from
finding the job that works for you
- You are ready, willing and able to commit to exploring your job options
Examples of conditions include and are not limited to:
- Learning Difficulties
- Chronic Back and/or Muscle Pain
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Asthma
- Hearing and/or Vision Problems
- Heart Problems
- Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
- Workplace injury
- Arthritis

There is no cost to participate in our program and we will help you:
- Identify suitable jobs
- Create resumes and cover letters
- Connect with employers
- Find job opportunities
- Practice interview skills
- Talk to your employer about your disability if you want
- Apply for funding for training and Wage Subsidies
- Case Management
- Career Exploration
- One to one guided and supported job search
- Funding for assessments including: Functional Capacity Evaluations, Vocational/Psychological
